HGH Information
Medical studies seem to show that the aging process is related to a decrease in Growth Hormone.
By supplementing GH, we may be able to control, and possibly reverse, the aging process.
GH has been used for many years. In 1985, "recombinant' Growth Hormone was developed - and it revolutionized the GH world.
Recombinant GH is made from non-human, 'natural' elements and is identical to human Growth Hormone.
The brain's pituitary creates human Growth Hormone (HGH or GH), which is what causes us to grow when we are young, and keeps us youthful when we are older. Growth Hormone is naturally secreted by the pituitary gland of the body.
When our long bone growth is completed between the ages of 25-30, the pituitary and immune system begin to lose their "motivation," and slow down the production of GH. Instead of keeping a balanced level, Growth Hormone begins to decrease steadily and signs of aging begin to appear.
Anyone over the age of 30 should take HGH according to some authorities because this is when GH levels begin to decline.
"It is better to start early than finish late."
How can I tell if I am Growth Hormone deficient
Once the brain's pituitary's anterior lobe begins to decrease its production of GH between the ages of 25-30, the body starts to show signs of aging. As we grow older, the level of GH production continues to decline. Therefore in order to control or possibly reverse the effects of aging, Growth Hormone levels need to be increased.
Consider this illustration showing the decline of Growth Hormone in the body
The left hand column depicts 'The Secreted Amounts of GH
Decline in GH
Secreted Amounts of GH 2000 1500 1000 500 400 350 300 Age in Years 0 5 10 20 30 40 50
Because we secrete less GH as we age, the following shows signs of Growth Hormone depletion
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Thinning hair
- Sagging skin (including triceps)
- Slow nail growth/poor condition cuticles/nails
- Diminishing eyesight
- Low energy
- Graying hair
- High cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides
- Skin problems
- Slow healing wounds
- Poor stamina
- Cellulite
- Sleep difficulties
- Weakened immune system
- Disease conditions
- Low/high blood pressure
- Emotional instability
- Failing sexual performance
- Lack of muscle tone
- Poor memory or cognition
- Joint problems
- Lack of enthusiasm
